A. Identity of the Data Controller
This information is provided by “Özçelik İnşaat Sanayi Mimarlık Elektrik Ticaret A.Ş.” in its capacity as Data Controller, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), in order to fulfill its obligation to inform personnel and prospective personnel.
B. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
The personal data to be processed about you includes your first and last name, Turkish ID number, phone number, parents' first and last names, first and last names of persons you are responsible for, permission information, criminal record, health report, and visual recordings obtained from cameras located in our company's facilities.
Your personal data may be processed by our company/branches or by legal/natural persons appointed by our company in accordance with the KVKK in the following circumstances:
For the purpose of identity verification and registration,
To determine whether you are suitable for the position sought, and if you are not deemed suitable, to evaluate you for similar positions,
To fulfill legal obligations related to the employment of personnel,
To open salary accounts for personnel, provide rental vehicles when necessary, provide telephones, provide telephone lines, and provide meal cards,

For emergency medical interventions,
To track and monitor sick leave or to monitor the health conditions necessary for the employee to perform their duties,
To track salary garnishments imposed on employees' salaries,
To ensure and monitor the soundness of our company's quality, information security, and privacy policies and standards,
To contact individuals designated by employees with their consent in the event of an emergency,
For the purpose of calculating personnel expenses,
For the purpose of determining and controlling entry and exit from work,
For the purpose of preparing reports and analyses for senior management,
For the purpose of performing functions such as software, enterprise resource planning, reporting, marketing, etc.,
For the purpose of evaluating performance and determining salary policies,
For the purpose of recording camera images due to confidentiality, security, and control practices at the workplace,
For the purpose of fulfilling the requirements specified by laws and regulations (tax legislation, social security legislation, debt law legislation, commercial law legislation, occupational health and safety law, legislation related to electronic communication, etc., all relevant legislation),
To fulfill the requests of public institutions and organizations as required or mandated by legal regulations,

C. To Whom and for What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your processed personal data is limited to mandatory information;
With banks for the purpose of opening a salary account,
With car rental companies for the purpose of providing rental cars when necessary,
With GSM operators for the purpose of providing a telephone line when necessary,
With food companies for the purpose of providing meal cards,
With occupational health and safety companies, hospitals, and healthcare institutions for the purpose of providing emergency medical interventions and fulfilling occupational health and safety obligations,
With servers and companies providing server support, as required by the information technologies used by our company, and with companies providing cloud computing services in cases where cloud computing is used,
With financial advisors/accounting firms and law firms for the purpose of fulfilling our obligations in accordance with the relevant legislation and for the management of our commercial activities, audits, and legal processes,
In order to fulfill the legal obligations stipulated by law and to ensure security, to legally authorized public institutions and organizations in accordance with their requests and limited to the purposes of such requests,
in cases where explicit consent is required by law, with explicit consent (except in cases where explicit consent is not required by law) and within the framework of the conditions determined by law.
D. Method and Legal Basis for Data Collection
Özçelik İnşaat Sanayi Mimarlık Elektrik Ticaret A.Ş. collects the data of its employees/prospective employees in accordance with the KVKK, through the channels listed below, by automatic or non-automatic means, verbally, in writing, or electronically, in compliance with the law, and processes such data in accordance with the conditions and purposes of personal data processing specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK. Your personal data is obtained either fully or partially through automated means or through non-automated methods as part of a data recording system.
The personal data of employees/prospective employees is obtained through:
Application forms published in written or electronic form,
Resumes sent to our company by candidates via e-mail, courier, references, and similar methods,
All types of communication channels, including correspondence conducted via e-mail addresses, text messages, multimedia messages, and information forms,
Through reference persons,
Through checks conducted to verify the accuracy of the information provided by the candidate and through research conducted by our company,
Through camera systems located in our company's facilities,
is collected.
These data are used to enable our company to provide better and higher quality services, to determine whether the relevant person is suitable for the position sought, to answer questions regarding the employment relationship, to conduct and organize company activities, to perform performance evaluations objectively, to fulfill legal responsibilities completely and accurately, to ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations, to ensure corporate and administrative management, to ensure the security of you and our company's businesses, and based on the legal reasons specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
In accordance with the mandatory provisions of the law, it is essential that the information of real persons is kept accurate and up to date. For this reason, our employees may be asked to update their personal information at certain intervals. Employees are expected to notify the relevant departments of any changes to their information. Özçelik Construction Industry Architecture Electrical Trade Inc. cannot be held responsible under any circumstances for incorrect information provided by employees.
E. Retention Period for Personal Data
Your personal data will be retained for the purposes outlined above for as long as your employment contract remains in effect. Personal data that is required to be retained by law will be retained for 10 (ten) years after the termination of your employment contract in accordance with social security legislation. In the event that an employment contract is not established with a job applicant, personal data will be retained for 6 months for the purpose of evaluating similar positions. After the retention period expires, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, and/or anonymized by our company or upon your request in accordance with the methods outlined in the Personal Data Protection Law and relevant regulations.
F. Data Subject Rights
Under the provisions of Article 11 of the KVK Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To learn whether personal data is being processed,
To request information about the processing of personal data,
To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incorrectly or incompletely,
Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing it no longer exist,
Requesting that your corrected or deleted information, if transferred, be communicated to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
Object to the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems resulting in a decision adverse to the individual,
Request compensation for any damage incurred due to the unlawful processing of personal data.

As the data subject, when submitting a request to exercise the rights outlined above, your request must include clear and understandable explanations regarding the right you wish to exercise. The matter you are requesting must be related to you personally, or if you are acting on behalf of another person, you must have special authorization for this matter and provide documentation of your authority. The application must include your identity and address information, and documents proving your identity must be attached to the application.
Applications made within this scope will be finalized within the shortest possible time frame and within a maximum of 30 days. These applications are currently free of charge. However, if the process incurs additional costs, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
