INFORMATION NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW NO. 6698

Özçelik Construction Industry Architecture Electrical Trade Inc. takes all necessary technical and legal measures in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to protect your personal data processed within the scope of its activities. Data subjects may access detailed information regarding the categories of personal data processed, the legal grounds for processing personal data, the data transferred to third parties, the purpose of such transfers, and their rights under the KVKK through the following information notice.

1.   Identity of the data controller and, if applicable, their representative

This information is provided by “Özçelik İnşaat Sanayi Mimarlık Elektrik Ticaret A.Ş.” in its capacity as Data Controller, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to fulfill its obligation to inform its business customers and natural or legal persons with whom it communicates.

2.   Which personal data will be processed and for what purpose

Your personal information, including your identity information (name, surname, Turkish ID number, tax number, etc.), address and telephone information,  bank account information, family status information, and voice and image data that can be used to identify you 

Your personal data;

a)    To identify the owner and recipient of any transaction or process related to any product or service offered by our company,

b)    To be provided to all competent judicial and administrative authorities upon request and in accordance with the legislation in matters related to public security and legal disputes,

c)         Ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company and real and legal persons who have a business relationship with our company,

d)         Ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and our company's buildings and businesses, and controlling entry and exit,

e) Evaluating the hiring processes of job applicants, creating employee personnel files, and maintaining our company's human resources policies,

will be processed in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Article 5 of the KVK Law.

3.    To whom and for what purposes processed personal data may be transferred

Your personal data collected; 

•    For the purpose of carrying out our commercial activities, to our business partners, 

•    For the purpose of providing products and services, to our suppliers on a limited basis, 

•    For the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations stipulated by law and ensuring security, to legally authorized public institutions and organizations in accordance with their requests and limited to the purposes of such requests,

•           To banks with which we collaborate in order to ensure the social and financial rights of persons employed by our company and to carry out our commercial activities,

•    To software companies and technology companies established in Turkey for the purpose of creating databases for operating systems and computer programs used in our company and our affiliates, ensuring program functionality, and performing program maintenance and repairs, 

•   Domestic technology companies that provide cloud technology services and from which we receive cloud services,

•   Institutions and insurance companies that provide health services to employees within the scope of occupational health and safety measures, for the purpose of ensuring that employees can work in a healthy work environment,

•   Consultants and lawyers with whom we collaborate and from whom we receive services in order to carry out our activities, 

Personal data may be transferred in accordance with the conditions set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVK Law.

4. Method and legal basis for collecting personal data

Your personal data is collected by Özçelik İnşaat Sanayi Mimarlık Elektrik Ticaret A.Ş. or our branches, or by individuals or legal entities authorized to process data on behalf of our company via email, fax, telephone, etc., for the purposes of establishing a business relationship with our company, benefiting from the services offered by our company, apply for a job, submit a bid, etc., by sharing their personal data in a physical or virtual environment, face-to-face or remotely, verbally or in writing, or electronically, through business cards, resumes (CVs), bids, or personnel files, as well as through the transmission of images from closed-circuit cameras located in our company's buildings and facilities.

The data collected in the manner described above is collected by our company in order to provide the products and services offered by our company within the defined legal framework and to enable our company to fulfill its contractual and legal obligations in a complete and accurate manner, based on the legal grounds listed in Article 5 of the KVK Law.

5.   Data subject rights

Under the provisions of Article 11 of the KVK Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

    To learn whether personal data is being processed,

    To request information about the processing of personal data,

            To learn the purpose of the processing of personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

    To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred,

    To request the correction of personal data if they are incomplete or incorrect,

            Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing it no longer exist,

   Requesting that your corrected or deleted information, if transferred, be communicated to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

            Object to the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems resulting in a decision against the individual,

   Request compensation for damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of personal data.

To exercise the rights mentioned above, you can send your written request with the necessary information to identify yourself and explanations regarding the right you wish to exercise to the address “Prof. Dr. Ahmet Taner Kışlalı Mah. Alacaatlı Cad. No: 36/20 Çankaya/ANKARA” with a wet signature.

As the owner of personal data, when you submit an application to exercise your rights mentioned above, your application must include explanations regarding the right you wish to exercise and the action you wish to take. Your request must be clear and understandable, and the subject of your request must be related to you personally. If you are acting on behalf of someone else, you must be specifically authorized to do so and provide documentation of your authority. The application must include your identity and address information, and documents proving your identity must be attached to the application.

Applications made within this scope will be finalized within the shortest possible time frame and within a maximum of 30 days. These applications are currently free of charge. However, if the process incurs additional costs, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
